Carl L. Ward and Carolyn Ward vs. Rick Houdersheldt, D.O.
* On Dec. 6, 2007, Carl Ward underwent a colonoscopy and biopsy performed by Houdersheldt. The plaintiffs claim Houdersheldt didn’t take the advice recommended by a pathologist after the biopsy and, on Nov. 12, 2010, he was diagnosed with metastatic colon cancer. They seek compensatory economic and non-economic damages allowable under the Medical Professional Liability Act, punitive damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, fees and other relief.
